Bazaar Oh Bazaar - Rasta TTDI

It's been a while since I had any time to go to the bazaar - without the objective to help out friends at their stall. Sometimes, if you do something way too often, you tend to get bored. Because you will most probably be seeing the same thing, same face and ask the same 'How are you?' to the same person, whom you met at the same venue  =_=

Managed to drop by at Rasta TTDI today. A food court (malay food court) that happens to have cool serving of delicious burgers and fried banana with honey as topping yo!!

Organised by B.O.B (Badan Orang Besar) Bazaar Oh Bazaar ( can't even find link, pfft!), it's a pretty cozy event with lots of colourful stuff from cupcakes, to red velvet cakes to shawls to colorblock skirts and so much to drool for - but not enough money to spend  =_=

bumble-bee maxi-tube-dress-skirt. spot the orange asymetrical skirt!

it's been awhile since I have seen handmade accessories and these are pretty! <3

Now u know dy. If you are big UK10 to UK14, don't bother buying peplum online from general blogshop. Fits only skinny peeps ;(
Whatever Darls

It's going to be around on 7th and 8th January. Most probably a lil bit too late for you peeps to go over and shop, but do keep an eye for their coming bazaars ;)

Chic Pop-pin

I'm a virgin to Chic Pop =D The last time I mentioned to boss I am going to a bazaar, she was squinting her eyes and gave me a HUH? and goes "Oh, so you are buying fruits in that Mon't Kiara Flea Market?" Yeah, that's what the corporate adults always think of. In fact, thats what I used to think too =D

TTDI Plaza

Jenny with her purchase in the bag |  Shangari - yet to purchase | Sha-Lene - not purchasing anything =D

Shangari with her mad purchase from The Shoplifters! RM5 for a quirky cheongsam - most probably would have been worn by some dead gothic student in Japan 5 years back. But still, IT'S RM5! Mati pun mati la!

I did came across 2 pieces of funky jacket from the same rack selling for RM25 (like what the owner of Shoplifter is wearing) But oh well, age is catching. And I got no motorbike license to boast the jacket on a bike.

I am a biased person, yes =D. And because I bought from DirtyPrettyThings, so I will flood the pictures of her items =P

Things that I won't wear, but you may wear

preloved  floral bustier from DirtyPrettyThings

a romper? jumper? from DirtyPrettyThings

I didn't know this is a romper/ jumper till I got back into my car and found that it's stitched at the bottom. I thought it is a dress. But NO! Which means if I am in dire need to pee, I have to time my speed to unlace the back  strap, pull down the sleeve strap, take off the sleeve from my hand, pull everything down to hips and then only can I proceed to perform my business in the loo =( Another alternative will be too wear no undies and pass out from like what the boys are doing, I guess =D
Nevertheless, I'll still keep it for the sake of 'Been There, Bought That, What's Next' moto in life =P

Woman with earring long top - Eff-Bombs
I have been eye-ing for this top when it was RM35 till it dropped to RM15. Phew.. Lucky thing not many people have the good taste that I possess in dressing =P
(reminder to self - never to wear when going for major drinking session. The woman's face may appear bloated simultaneously when I am  pregnant with Heineken, Johnny and Jack)

I went to the bazaar with these
My fave Yipi Yaya Excess Baggage FlareTop - Lah Lah Land
My Leopardy Bag from Vintage Pod

In any case you suspect I am some kinda dumb bitch with a lopsided head, I am NOT. It's the theory of reflection that I am trying to conceal there. I have to nudge and bend every / certain part of the body to stop the afternoon sun  ray from giving glare like having flashes... yada yada... it's a complicated theory when dealing with Tesco camera.

Rena and her One-Tiang-Hang-All Collection

I didn't realise also that Nakalicious is having 50% clearance till I got home and saw the pictures I took -_-
I have this 'tidak-apa-cincai-boncai' attitude when snapping pictures :)  And that bag from Survival Store is less than RM60!

This bag is so big. To compare I have Reena's head in front. I think you can put 3 heads in it =D
That's the thing with hip and happening bazaars - the crowd just won't budge. It's always with people walking here and there and hard to get a good snap. But hey, nevertheless I helped you you in determing the size of the bag =D
bag by Lah Lah Land (i think)

I bought a pair too =D

It's so difficult to get this kinda maxi nowadays, but it's RM100 or so. Oh well..maybe I should start sewing.

bags for teeny boopers

Overall, it's a great bazaar to go, though I wish I can drive around in my car, with air cond on and stopped when I see something interesting. Yeah, the weather is hot, my BB cream is melting and bras too are damp =D

Back to work! Have a good day at work! =D

Archive of Post

Gosh, I missed the attention from guest blogging in YSK. And I don't even see her online nowadays.
Sha-lene!!! Where are you!!!

I was planning to post about how I shed tears during my drive back home. Yeah, I cried. I hate the torment of being stuck in jam on the way home. It's a dilemma everyday. If I failed to manage my time, I will most probably end up parking alone the road to 'the place where I stay'. It's really a dilemma everyday which leads me to crying. Because I am tired of driving to appointment. and after work I again have to drive and get stuck. So I cried. Because while getting stuck, I have a curfew to reach home before 9pm. Because after that, i will have to park somewhere along the road and walk and risk Jinjang fella attempting to scratch / mutate / steal my car.
Anyway....I shall save it for another session when I cried and survived to make another post.

BAZAARS!
Chic Pop - 30th January 2010

Threadzoo Bazaar Vol 01 - 6th to 7th February 2010

Lelong Lelong Marketplace No. 3 - 16th - 17th January 2010

Not too sure what's with me, but I seemed to get pretty excited knowing there will be bazaars that I can poke my head into! =D
Yeah, so I am most probably trying to go to at least one if not all =D
See you there! Say Hi to me if you do bump into me =D

Bazaar Bizarre Not Yet!

The only bazaar I've set my foot on would be the Sunday Flea Market look-alike area in Plaza Mon't Kiara. Wait, I am not sure what is it. As there are people selling fruits, more people selling fruits, many selling clothes and accessories and sometimes church having 'lelong' sales. I know what are being sold - because all the big canvas umbrellas are blocking my sight to look for the restaurant I wanted to go =P
OOhh!! I was also told those stalls with again big canvas umbrellas along the pavement at The Curve are also bazaar! All along, I thought it's some charity auction or carnival to raise fund for the lesser fortunate -__-
Along the journey of online shopping I was intorduced to the many other bazaars around town. Which I assume there will again be middle-aged aunties selling corns and strawberries.

Rupa-rupanya tidak!! Alahai....
My first bazaar! I would like to call it My First Junkie Yuppie bazaar =P
Organised by people who look like they have just completed a session of Capsule's MTV and head down straight to sell some funky clothes =P
Grab n Pick Version Part 8

The Saturday crowd where people give no concern if you are eyeing on the same piece of dress. They just have to be quick and grab!

The Sunday morning with people opting to savour dim-sum elsewhere in Kepong and leaving the seller to get idylic and sleepy.
Everyone is craving for attention. Promotions and discounts are crying out loud and clear.

My purchase on Day 2- I would like to call it the Molestor Top
from the land of people looking like they just finished a MTV session for Capsule - Lah Lah Land
RM25!! (bazaar price)

Also another piece from Lah Lah Land - I wuld call this the Yippi Yaya Excess Baggage Top
RM35 (bazaar price)
I got home and attempted to fly with it, as the excess fabric looked like its big enough to make into wings.
Failed. Too heavy I think..
I don't know why I bought this
Mei of Eff-Bombs, the one with the growing horns
Some other cool stuff which I may not be able to accept, but still think its fantabulous for people below my age
More yada yada in YourShoppingKaki!

OK!! Back to work!! Have a happy Monday! Damn...
